College and Trade School Visit Funding Opportunity

 

 

The Native Youth Community Project (NYCP) is excited to offer a new opportunity for eligible students and families to receive travel sponsorship for campus visits to Virginia colleges or trade schools.

This initiative supports Native students in preparing for higher education by offering financial assistance for in-state campus visits during the current fiscal year.

 

Who Is Eligible?

• Students must be enrolled in grades 8 through 12

• Students must be enrolled citizens of one of the 11 Virginia-recognized tribes or a federally recognized tribe (documentation required)

• Students must be residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia

• Travel must be for campus visits within Virginia only

 

Families are encouraged to apply in advance of their planned visits using the official application form.
